These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Deepglass (the “Service”), operated by Mason Strategy (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Deepglass is a thought-clarification and knowledge tool. You provide text and voice input; the Service uses third-party AI providers to help you structure your thinking into notes you own. The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
2. Accounts
You must provide an accurate email address and are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. Keep your sign-in credentials secure and notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
3. Subscriptions, billing & cancellation
- The Service offers a free trial and paid tiers (currently Trial, Standard, and Pro). Tier features, usage allowances, and prices are shown in the app and may change with notice.
- Paid subscriptions are billed in advance through our payment processor, Stripe, on a recurring basis until cancelled. By subscribing you authorize recurring charges to your payment method.
- You may cancel at any time from the customer portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you retain access until then.
- Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial periods or unused allowance.
- Usage is metered. When you reach your tier’s allowance, AI features pause until the period resets or you upgrade. We may change allowances or pricing prospectively with reasonable notice.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes;
- attempt to circumvent usage limits, metering, security, or access controls;
- resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties except as expressly permitted;
- submit content you do not have the right to submit, or that infringes the rights of others.
5. Your content & intellectual property
You retain all ownership of the notes, text, and other content you create or upload (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you. We do not claim ownership of Your Content, and we do not use Your Content to train AI models (see our Privacy Policy). The in-app export provides the note folders listed in the Privacy Policy as portable Markdown files.
6. AI output
The Service uses AI to generate suggestions and structure. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for a given purpose, and is not professional advice. You are responsible for reviewing and deciding how to use any output. We make no warranty as to the accuracy of AI-generated content.
7. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party providers (including hosting, authentication, payment, and AI providers) to function. Your use of the Service is also subject to those providers’ terms where applicable. The sub-processors we use are listed in our Privacy Policy.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; you may export Your Content beforehand, and we will handle remaining data as described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, and our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Mason Strategy operates, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. [Jurisdiction to be finalized.]
